From 30 September to 2 October, Skingreen took part in Packaging of the Future 2026, held in Marinha Grande as part of the Embalagem do Futuro (Packaging of the Future) project.
Skingreen’s participation included two key moments: the Technical Exhibition, hosted at VANGEST on 30 September, and the PFiC – Packaging of the Future International Conference, which took place over the following two days.
Presenting the Bgreen2Pack project
During the Technical Exhibition, the results developed through the Embalagem do Futuro project were presented, offering an opportunity to explore the solutions developed by the different organisations involved.
Skingreen presented the results of PPS12 – Bgreen2Pack: New Premium Packaging from Natural Origin with Incorporated Fragrances, showcasing the solutions developed throughout the project and the work carried out in collaboration with its partners.
The project explores new approaches to premium packaging, combining natural-origin materials with incorporated fragrances and opening up new possibilities for more innovative and distinctive packaging solutions.
Exploring the future of packaging
The PFiC – Packaging of the Future International Conference brought together companies, scientific organisations and other industry professionals to discuss projects, technologies, solutions and emerging trends shaping the future of packaging.
For Skingreen, the conference was an opportunity not only to follow the latest developments in the sector, but also to exchange knowledge and experiences with other professionals and partners working towards the next generation of packaging solutions.
Three days of knowledge sharing and collaboration
Across the three days, Packaging of the Future 2026 provided a valuable setting for knowledge sharing, collaboration and the presentation of innovative projects. It also offered an opportunity to strengthen connections with different partners and gain a closer look at the developments driving change in the packaging industry.
For Skingreen, participating in the event was an opportunity to showcase the results achieved through PPS12 – Bgreen2Pack, share experiences with other organisations involved in the project, and stay closely connected to the innovations shaping the future of packaging.
